Paula Neihouse Moseman attended the University of Kansas where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and her Master’s degree in Accompanying, and the University of Miami where she received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Accompanying and Chamber Music. Her teachers have included Alice Downs and J. B. Floyd in piano and Mark Ferrell and Paul Posnak in accompanying and chamber music. She has also studied organ with Matthew Geerlings and Elizabeth Berghout.
Dr. Neihouse worked as a staff accompanist at the prestigious Interlochen Arts Camp and for over 20 years has been an active piano teacher and accompanist in the South Florida, Kansas City, Omaha, Northern Virginia, and Manhattan, Kansas areas. She has served as church organist and choir accompanist at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kansas, All Saints Catholic Church in Sunrise, Florida, and Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Miami Springs, Florida, and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Manhattan, Kansas. She has also served as the Director of Music for Queen of the Holy Rosary in Overland Park, Kansas and the Director of Music at Holy Trinity Church in Lenexa, Kansas. Dr. Neihouse is a former faculty member of Avila University in Kansas City and Washburn University in Topeka. She is a member of the Music Teachers National Association and Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternity.
